Holiday Cruise for Special Guests

The MV/LAIKA got to participate in a cruise for adults with learning disabilities sponsored and organized by the Meydenbaur Bay Yacht Club . This year, over 21 boats participated in the cruise. It originated at the club and headed North under 520 where it circled a large sailing yacht with Santa onboard before heading back.

We sponsored three guests and two chaperones. The weather, while chilly, was clear. Except for the wave action caused by our armada, the lake was calm.

It was a great day and a great opportunity for Lila to spend time with people that face unique challenges in their lives.
